Art Show in Yellville


Palette Art League Art show 2011

The League is hosting their show from Oct 6th - 8th. Starting at 1pm on Thursday and ending sometime after 6pm on Saturday.  This show will be held on the West side of Town Square at the Church in the Rock Bldg. on square, Yellville, Arkansas. The show is being held during the Turkey Trot Festival so make sure you stop by when you are out there. 

Cash Awards and ribbons for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, place ribbons in each divisions. The show will be opened to all two and three dimensional works in any media. This year‘s show will include, Professional, Adult, Senior High School, Junior High School, Elementary, Photography and Wild Turkey Division..
Schedule of Events:
1:00 p.m.to 5:00 p.m. October 06, Thursday, Entries accepted at the Church on the Rock Bldg.
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. October 07, Friday, Judging of the Art Show
1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. October 07, Friday, Show Open to Public
11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. October, 08 Saturday , Show Open to Public
4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. October 08, Artist will be picking up artwork at this time. ( no artwork may be removed before this time.)
5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. October 08, Winning Artists are encouraged to deliver their artwork to, The P.A.L.’s Fine Art Gallery for a “Special Winner’s Exhibit” for the remainder of October, 2011.
Entry Fees: Prospectus available upon registration or by calling “The P.A.L.’s
$ 3:00 entry fee for Senior High School and younger students.
$ 10.00 adult non club member or $ 8.00 member( membership is available at time of entry)

SPECIAL PROJECTS “Art and Artisan of the Ozarks,” volume one. On Sale $24.95 collectors coffee table book of artists from Ozark Mountains,
“Art and Artisans of the Ozarks, Volume Two, Debut and signing of artists on site.
Original Miniature Paintings and other handmade gifts
Face Painting Booth for all ages by local artists painting faces on square during festivities;
( all proceeds from above projects support the P.A.L.’s Fine Art Gallery community projects)
