The official Football Season has hit us. It's time to get out the jerseys and show your colors. We are definitely an area of Football Fanatics. Everyone loves their Teams and wears their colors proudly. In the Twin Lakes area, we have many, many, many transplants from all over the country but of course our very own Red, Black, and White Razorbacks wash all those other colors out. .....

Twin Lakes Night Life

It’s Friday Night in Mountain Home, Ar. and time to let loose for the weekend !  Woot Woot !  The question is what is there to do around here ? It’s typical Small Town Middle America and our choices are slim. Truth is there is a lot of fun to be had around here if you get out and find it. First check out our Calendar of Events to see if something special is happening .
For a quiet night out, there’s always going out for something to eat at one of our many restaurants . We have our two movie theaters, The Carmike Theater and The Sun Valley Theater both located in the middle of Mountain Home.  No one ever said Dinner and a movie was not a great night out.
For our younger friends we have 3 bowling Alleys, one on each end of Mountain Home and the other in Lakeview next to the 178 club. The little ones will love you forever if you give them some tokens and let them loose in Larry’s Pizza’s game center. We have one Miniature golf course . Various School Sporting events and often there is evening entertainment at the Buffalo Coffee Shop.
For a little culture, The Twin Lakes Play house often has a production on the weekends , The Vada Sheid Center has been expanding their performance schedules to include some beautiful music and theatrical events.  And more and more around town you can find an evening with an Art Exhibit somewhere.
If your ready to get your dancing shoes on well then  we have a half dozen bars with some nightly entertainment which you will see posted on the Bar Crawl. And there is always Karaoke going on somewhere.
Check out the Calendar of Events and our Facebook to make sure your not missing something. And let us know if we are.

Life’s a PARTY so get out and enjoy it !
