Red White & Blue Festival

4th of July Season in the Twin Lakes Area

Mountain Home's Red White & Blue Festival

June 28th - 30th 2013

The double weekend stretch begins with a Parade down Hwy 62 on Friday June 26th and most likely will come to an end the following weekend July 6th at the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce Margaritaville Party. Make your plans and reservations to be in town this week and check our Facebook page for updated information and events. It's still very early, who knows what they have planned for us this year.

There is so much to do in the 2 weeks surrounding the Red White and Blue Festival and the 4th of July. Fireworks all over the area on several different nights, Car Shows, Craft Displays, Lots of great food from Vendors, Friends and Neighbors. There is always someone having a BBQ during this time. Concerts on The Square and at the ASUMH campus grounds, Movies in the park, Town Parade, Rodeo, Several activities for the kids including Bounce House, Slide, Bungee Run, Sumo Wrestling and more. In years past, there were Hot Air Balloons at the college, a 5K run, Kids Turtle Races, Face Painting, Peddle Karts, Kids Crafts. Art Show, Tennis competition, a Wakeboard Competition, and so much more.
Personally, I think this is the nicest time of year for our tourist to plan their vacations here in the Twin Lakes Area. Truly the best time to have company from out of town come to visit here in North Central Arkansas. Summer is in full bloom, everything is beautiful and there are so many activities to keep just about everyone entertained.  BOOK Your Rooms and Camp Sites NOW

(Actually ;-) Spring time is pretty awesome too ... just not so much to do )
